SaaS Infrastructure

SAS 70 certification. Multi-million dollar infrastructure investment.

Data security

Stratify’s SAS 70 certification ensures that highest level of security protocols regarding data access, handling, transmission and chain of custody are in place to safeguard clients confidential data. Secure access to matters, coupled with encrypted transmission of data, ensures that no unauthorized personnel will gain access to critical, confidential information.

Disaster Recovery

With electronic discovery becoming increasingly business-critical, general counsel, CIOs and outside counsel are demanding stringent disaster recovery capabilities similar to those implemented for enterprise datacenters.

Stratify's multi-million dollar investment in disaster recovery infrastructure in an industry-first. It takes the form of a fully replicated production datacenter in seismically neutral Sacramento, CA, 120 miles removed from its primary production datacenter in San Jose CA, equipped with more than 250 terabytes of storage, 200 servers and redundant 100MB internet access.

In a challenging economy, general counsel and outside counsel are much more sensitive to risk and expect enhanced eDiscovery efficiencies.“The new eDiscovery Matter Portfolio Management capabilities of the Stratify Legal Discovery v9.0 service directly address these needs, and by strengthening its client service capabilities, Stratify is delivering the enhanced level of professional responsiveness and legal expertise required for today’s complex eDiscovery matters.”

Aggressive replication procedures are designed to ensure 100 percent recovery of all processed and loaded documents and system metadata, and to meet a Recovery Point Objective (RPO) of 0-59 minutes for review work product. eDiscovery RPO is the point in time to which clients can recover review-based data transactions such as tagging, document redaction, etc.

Our aggressive disaster recovery service levels radically reduce the risk of data loss through natural or man-made disasters and minimize potential downtime regardless of matter size, number of reviewers, or the number of matters under active management.

Chain of custody

The SaaS architecture of the Stratify Legal Discovery service ensures rigorous chain of custody by preventing  data from inadvertently circulating beyond the system via desktops or mobile devices.

No application software risk

Stratify directly manages the application deployment and configuration of the Stratify Legal Discovery service and all supporting software (ex: Microsoft Office to examine Office native files) reducing the risk of software incompatibilities or version control issues.
