Michael gained significant experience in managing all aspects of the electronic discovery process including: drafting and responding to discovery requests; negotiating the scope of discovery with adverse parties and regulators; engaging third-party service providers to identify, preserve, collect and filter electronically stored information ("ESI"); and coordinating the review of ESI by large teams of associates and/or contract attorneys using in-house technology or third-party, web-based solutions.

Michael earned a BA in Political Science and German from the College of the Holy Cross, and a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law, magna cum laude, where he served as the Business Editor of the Law Review. Michael is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New York and in the U.S. District Courts for District of Massachusetts and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Prior to law school, Michael represented the United States as a Fulbright Scholar to Germany, where he attained fluency in both written and spoken German.
