Stratify, Inc. provides the Stratify Legal Discovery™ services (“SLD Services”) using web-based software for storage, review and production of electronic documents. In the course of providing this service, Stratify adheres to strict confidentiality standards and privacy policies related to the use of information obtained from its customers, including personal information collected directly from customers or otherwise provided to Stratify to enable the delivery of the SLD Services.

This Privacy and Security Statement (“Privacy Statement”) demonstrates our commitment to customer privacy. Privacy on the Stratify web site (the “Site,” https://lds.stratify.com) is of great importance to us. Because we receive important information about our customers in connection with the operation of the Site, we have established this Privacy Statement to communicate our information storage and dissemination practices. We reserve the right to change our Privacy Statement at any time. If we modify our Privacy Statement, we will provide notification of the changes on our Site at least thirty (30) days prior to date the change becomes effective.

Privacy

Customers who register to use our SLD Services are required to provide us with the following information: (i) company contact information including the customer’s name, company name, address, phone number and e-mail address; (ii) company financial qualification and billing information including the name and address of customer’s billing contact; and (iii) the number of users within the organization who will be using the SLD Services. We may also ask for additional personal information such as title, department name, fax number or additional company information such as the location of your employees.

We use the information we collect to set up the SLD Services for individuals and their organizations. Customer email addresses and any personal customer information is not distributed to or shared with third parties without prior written permission.

As part of the SLD Services, we host customer provided data and materials (“Data”) on our Site. Stratify will not review, share, distribute, print or reference any customer’s Data except as provided in the Stratify Legal Discovery Services Agreement entered into between Stratify and its customer or as may be required by law. Individual records may at times be viewed or accessed by Stratify for the purpose of resolving a problem or support issue. Our customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their user registration(s) and password(s). Upon completion of work on a matter subject to a Stratify Legal Discovery Services Agreement, the Data related to that matter is deleted from the Site and destroyed, and media items supplied by the customer are returned.

Stratify may also collect certain information from customers such as Internet addresses. This information is logged to help diagnose technical problems and to administer our Site in order to improve the quality of the SLD Services. We may track and analyze non-identifying and aggregate usage and volume statistical information from our Site and provide such information to third parties.

Security

Our Site has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the Data under our control. When our Site is accessed using Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6.0 or higher, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects our customer information using both server authentication and data encryption to help ensure that a customer’s Data is safe, secure, and available only to the customer. Stratify also implements a secure software user interface based on 128-bit encryption of user login sessions and hosts the Site in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Stratify provides unique user names and passwords that must be entered each time a customer logs on to the Site. These safeguards help to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data privacy and ensure the appropriate use of Data.

In the event of a breach of the security of our Site, we will promptly investigate the breach and take all reasonable measures to prevent future breaches. Any individual suspected of aiding or causing a breach of the security of our Site will be brought to the attention of the legal authorities and we will cooperate in the prosecution of such individual.

Safe Harbor Policy

Stratify adheres to the Safe Harbor Principles created by U.S. Department of Commerce in consultation with the European Commission, to insure adherence to the European Commission’s Directive on Data Protection, as described in the web site: http://www.export.gov/safeharbor/, and referred to as the safe harbor framework.

Stratify Website Privacy Policy

Stratify, Inc. takes your privacy seriously and we created this Web Site Privacy Policy in order to ensure the confidence of visitors and customers to our Web site, and to demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices and the protection of privacy.

1. Types of Information Collected

In order for you to access certain services and to experience products that we offer via the Web site, we sometimes ask you to provide us with information, at the point of download, that personally identifies you (“Personal Information”). Personal Information may include data such as your name, mailing and e-mail addresses. If you communicate with us by e-mail, any information provided in the communication may be collected as Personal Information. If you choose not to provide us with any Personal Information, you can still access and use much of the Web site; however you will not be able to access and use those portions of the Web site that require your Personal Information.

2. Confidentiality and Security of Personal Information

Personal Information will not be used to track your behavior. Your Personal Information is stored on secure servers that are protected from unauthorized access. To have your information removed from our corporate database, please contact webmaster@stratify.com.

3. A word about cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data that consists of a text only string that gets entered into the memory of a browser and is stored on your computer's hard drive. Although each browser is different, most browsers will allow users to establish their own preferences to accept cookies, reject them or notify you when a cookie is set. In the event you set your browser to reject all cookies, you may not be able to take advantage of all Stratify offerings.

Stratify uses cookies in order to make it more convenient for you to visit our site. By using cookies, you will not have to re-enter information to have access to certain information in the event you decide to re-visit our site.

4. Other Limits to Your Privacy

The Web site contains links to other Web sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these Web sites.

5. Updates and Changes to Privacy Policy

We may, at any time and without notice, add to, change, update or modify this Privacy Policy, simply by posting the change, update or modification on the Web site. Any change, update or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on the Web site.
