David Bayer is responsible for all marketing activities related to Stratify's advanced taxonomy and categorization platform. He guides the company's efforts for successful corporate positioning, product introductions and market penetration, managing product management, product marketing, and lead generation, as well as product user interface design and usability. With over 15 years in enterprise software, Bayer uses his experience and instincts to make Stratify the leader in unstructured data management.

Before joining Stratify, Bayer was Chief Technology Officer at gForce Systems, an eLearning and Knowledge Exchange company, where he was responsible for product vision and strategy, and coordinated gForce product development with key standards bodies and industry consortia. Bayer also held a variety of roles in product management and product marketing for Verity and Information Dimensions. Bayer started his software career as the technical lead responsible for automating Baker Library at Harvard Business School.

Bayer was educated at Brandeis and Boston University, majoring in History and Social Theory, during which time he focused on the history of the book and knowledge diffusion in modern Central Europe.
